Michael LemmeMike (aka Lemme) owes his job to barefaced nepotism (more on which later). As CCO, he is responsible for continuously elevating creative standards across the organization. In addition, Lemme leads D/C’s design and digital practices, including brand identity system and UX design, and collaborates on brand strategy efforts. He has led rebranding efforts for, among others, Esurance, Blurb, Tahoe South and Hard Rock International, for which the agency won top honors from the international REBRAND 100 Awards. He also conceived and designed D/C’s widely honored digital work for Hard Rock. Prior to joining D/C, Mike was creative director at the San Francisco design firm Method, where he led efforts for SFMOMA, Autodesk, Reuters and American Apparel.

In addition to the REBRAND 100 award, his third (the first was for Autodesk in 2006), he has been recognized in Communication Arts’ 2012 Advertising Annual for his work on Blurb and CA’s Interactive Annual for his Hard Rock work. He was also a One Show Interactive finalist for Hard Rock and a One Show Interactive winner for SFMOMA’s “Making Sense of Modern Art” interface. And his wise and witty musings have been featured on Communications ArtsInsights blog.

He is secretly married to a longtime D/C creative director and proud papa of two boys.
